From beginning of May to middle of June, eyevis presented its product innovations at eight locations in Europe. Several hundred integrators, planners and end-users from different markets such as control rooms, presentation, Digital Signage, Broadcast, and virtual reality & simulation, took the occasion to get a comprehensive hands-on experience of our perfect visual solutions.
This year‘s roadshow started in the „White City“, the Serbian capital Belgrade. From there, the trek went on to Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and had a last stop on the Balkan in Croatia‘s capital Zagreb. Our Slovenian partner Rap-ing d.o.o. had chosen the locations and arranged for a smooth organisation and running of the roadshow events. All events provided two sessions per day, divided in a seminar part and a workshop with direct interaction with the relevant products.
The next stops in Italy were Rome and Milan. In the Cinecittà Studios, a large film studio near Rome which is considered to be the leading hub of Italian cinema, and two days later in the Sheraton Hotel in Milan, more than hundred visitors experienced eyevis products in two splendid locations.
The tour through the South of Europe went on to Madrid and Lisbon, where we were able to make various contacts directly connected to ongoing projects.
„The roadshow events in Madrid and Lisbon were extremely important for us. Besides visitors dealing with the domestic markets of Spain and Portugal, we also created numerous contacts to people acting in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries in Latin America and Africa,“ explains Rainer Link, Director International Sales at eyevis.
At the final event for the 2015 tour in Paris, we stopped at the “Haut Comité Français pour la Défense Civile“, an independent, non-profit think tank organisation which conducts research and analysis on global security issues and new solutions towards a resilient society, headquartered close to the Quai d‘Orsay in Paris.
During the roadshow, our high resolution LED modules „made in Germany“ and the new slim versions of our rear-projection cubes with an installation depth of only 422 mm for the 50-inch Full HD-version, created the msost attraction amongst the visitors. The possibility to create unique and creative video walls was shown with our flexible rear-projection modules omniSHAPES. With a range of rectangular and none rectangular displays these units can be used to build up a digital display canvas even in convex and concave formats.
Additionally, solutions for the control of video walls were shown, like the netPIX video wall controllers and eyeCON wall management software. eyeCON with its EPU-Wall feature enables the installation and control of unlimited video walls on the basis of standard IP networks. In combination with IPTV and video networking solutions from Teracue eyevis the systems allows recording and playout of several IP streams. LCD screens from our 4K/Ultra-HD display range provided pin-sharp images to the visitors, one device was additionally equipped with a multi-touch surface. LCDs with OPS slot for the integration of eyevis Processing Units (EPUs) or alternative input boards, and a working sample of a mirror display, were also part of the exhibition.

Our roadshow events give us the opportunity to bring our perfect visual solutions and their additional values to their doorsteps. Hereby we directly reach the target audience at the diverse locations all over Europe. They receive a comprehensive user experience with our technology, which would not be possible during a regular trade fair. Through the cooperation with our local subsidiaries and resellers we further achieve a local awareness and a direct contact to our company”, explains Christian Massmann, CEO of the eyevis Group, the success of this year’s Pan-European roadshow events.
